John’s growth opportunity while in 10,000 Small Businesses was to start selling products through the online retail channel. When Wesco Enterprises began selling products online through Amazon.com, their sales increased by 50%. The company recently added an ecommerce component to their website so customers can purchase directly from them. John stated, “I am really excited about the online retail channel and the potential for growth for my company. I had a lot of assets I wasn't leveraging and now slowly but surely my company is growing again.” Wesco Enterprises is a family-owned importer and distributor of food handling gloves and disposables for the food service, janitorial and packaging industries.
