Networking is important to me. I’m happy to meet new people and learn from their experiences. Even if someone is in a different field you can still learn from their business perspectives.

Tell us about a challenge you’ve faced in your business.
Competing with the big-box stores is a big challenge for us. We really try to focus on our customer interactions to differentiate ourselves.

What do you enjoy about being a small business owner?
Being a small business owner gives me the opportunity to focus on the ideas that inspire me. Through the 10,000 Small Businesses program, I learned to be more open and creative in my solutions for my customers.

Since graduating from the 10KSB Program, is there an accomplishment or goal you’re particularly proud of achieving?
I was named the 2016 North American Office Products Award for Young Executive of the Year and in 2018. I was nominated as Orange County Business Journal’s Innovator of the Year award. Being recognized by my peers is a really great accomplishment to me.
